On February 22, 2022, the long-awaited opening of the Museum of the Future (MOTF) took place in Dubai with the support of the Dubai Future Foundation. The exposition is devoted to the potential of technology development in the coming future. The museum has a permanent exhibition, immersive theater and thematic exhibitions. And also, the headquarters of the «Great Arab Minds» project is located here, its main goal is to gather a board of 1000 talented Arab scientists from various scientific fields. Design and architecture

The Museum of the Future is an engineering marvel. It is one of the 14 most beautiful museums in the world, according to National Geographic magazine. The building's unique shape represents Dubai's vision of the future, Sean Killa, the project's lead architect, says. The facade of the museum is decorated with Arabic calligraphy carvings, the holes of which serves as a kind of windows. Its author was the Emirati artist Mattar bin Lahej. The stunning building is a frame structure made of stainless steel and fiberglass. The building has a futuristic shape. The elliptical configuration symbolizes humanity, and the hill on which the structure is located, the earth. The void inside the object demonstrates an unknown future. The height of the building is 77 meters. The museum complex occupies a vast area, 323 thousand feet and consists of 7 floors. Who built the Museum of the Future? Museum of the Future was designed by Killa Design architects led by architect Sean Killa and engineered by Buro Happold engineering consultancy, and supported by the Dubai Future Foundation. The Exterior & Interior of The Museum of the Future The exterior of the Museum of the Future's is made out of stainless steel and consists of 1,024 pieces. The facade of the building is decorated with Arabic calligraphy, the letters also have a functional feature - these are a kind of windows, made by the famous Emirati sculptor and artist Mattar Bin Lahej(founder of Marsam Mattar, the first art gallery in the UAE).

The panels are carved with three phrases from poetry written by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai: We won’t live for hundreds of years, but we can create something that will last for hundreds of years. It is a constantly evolving exhibition of innovations, technologies and gadgets that can change our world. The exhibition presents a unique platform where leading experts from different fields can connect freely and exchange outstanding ideas. The result is a demonstration of exciting tech products that is a gateway to the near future. Al Waha, 3 floor: Also known as an Oasis. Visitors are given a rare chance to leave behind our high-tech reality in order to reconnect with their own mind, soul and body. This exposition will make guests feel the power of movements, meditations and water due to vibrations that restore the balance of electromagnetic fields and the natural rhythms of the body. There are such rooms like Sand Bath, Meditation Room, Ultrasonic Therapy, and Connections Therapy. HEAL Institute, 4 floor: In this room, you will find samples of flora and fauna. The glass showcases feature 2,400 species of animals, insects, sea creatures, plants and seeds, whose genetic codes are in a special storage. OSS Hope, 5 floor: Here you can imagine what life in outer space is like. The spaceship called "Hope" will take you into space, and you can see the atmosphere of our planet and other objects in space. The four-minute journey ends at the Orbital Space Station (OSS), which is located on the 5th floor and shows the station 600 km above our planet.
