History of creation Dubai Parks and Resorts

The Dubai Parks and Resorts project was developed by Meraas Holding, a Dubai-based company known for its innovative, ambitious projects. The idea of creating an entertainment center was first announced in 2012 with the main aim of creating a world-class theme park in Dubai.

Construction began in 2014. The budget was $2.9 billion. The development was completed in stages: the first phase started in December 2016, and the final phase was completed in 2019.

Along the way, the project encountered some difficulties, including delays due to funding problems. However, despite everything, the company persevered and continued to work on creating a unique complex of amusement parks that would appeal to visitors of different ages and interests.

As a result, Dubai Parks and Resorts Entertainment Complex has become one of the most popular places among tourists and locals.

Top Attractions

LEGOLAND Dubai

This is one of a few similar parks in the world. From its name, it is already clear that the main theme is the world-famous Lego designer brand. There are 6 zones in total:

· "Factory" — a factory where parts are manufactured and sold.

· "LEGO City" - here you will find various water and non—water attractions. Also, there is a driving school for children from 3 to 13 years old, in which your child will get his first driver's license.

· "Kingdom" (Kingdoms) is executed in the style of the Middle Ages. Here you can see dragons, castles and knights. For children, there is a steam train that passes through the caves, and for adults, there is a climbing wall.

· "Imagination" is a place that is ideal for curious engineers. Everyone can build whatever he wants. Also, visitors can climb the tower, from which the whole park will be at a glance.

· "Adventure" is a place where tourists are given the opportunity to go on an exciting journey in search of treasures on an island, in the underwater world or in the jungle.

· And finally, located in the center of the park, "Miniland". The zone is a completely built out of Lego bricks Emirates with all the buildings, cars, airport and planes flying in the sky. And all this can not only be observed, this mini-world can also be influenced by buttons and levers.

· There is also a Legoland water park very close by, which is also worth to visit if you decide to come to the Legoland park.

Bollywood Parks Dubai

There are many attractions, monuments, palaces and events performed in the best traditions of Indian cinema. The main purpose of creating the park is to give visitors the opportunity to plunge into the colorful world of Bollywood, see how these films were "born" and even try themselves as an actor.

Many tourists note the design of Indian architecture. For example, Mumbai's shopping street was recreated quite accurately with many shops, cafés and restaurants where you can eat Indian cuisine and drink traditional tea with spices.

Also, here in the park was opened the world's tallest carousel - Bollywood Skyflyer, whose height is 140 meters.

Visitors can visit one of many restaurants, shops and shows in the picturesque Riverland Dubai area. It's worth noting that no ticket is required to enter here.
